Today Russia's Minister of the Interior Rashid Nurgaliyev visited the Internal Affairs Authorities employees who undergo medical treatment in Russia's MVD Main Clinical Hospital for the injuries they sustained in the line of duty in the North Caucasus.
During the Minister's visit, a webcam was installed in the intensive care unit, which enabled the injured policemen to speak to their relatives and friends in the teleconference mode.
Rashid Nurgaliyev had a talk with five intensive care unit patients. He asked them about the injury infliction circumstances and their medical condition, and listened to the doctors' reports on the medical treatment process. Despite the clinical performance complexity of the inflicted wounds, the Minister stated that the hospital has everything required for ensuring the policemen's absolute recovery. The most advanced methods and sophisticated equipment are used for treating the patients. With a view of improving the connection to their relatives, the Minister gave cell phones to the injured.
The MVD head conferred administrative awards on the injured for their valor and wished them "a quick recovery and return to the ranks".
